GTA 6 Collector’s Edition: Vice City Collection Price, Contents and Preorders

Rockstar’s official collector product for GTA 6 is Grand Theft Auto VI: The Goodtime State – Vice City Collection. It is a limited physical merchandise box, not an edition of the game, and GTA 6 is sold separately. The US-facing Rockstar Store lists the collection at $399.99. Regional prices and availability vary, so buyers should check the seller serving their location before ordering.

GTA 6 Collector’s Box: key facts

Table showing key facts about GTA VI’s The Goodtime State - Vice City Collection, including its price, contents and game status.
The Goodtime State - Vice City Collection is a standalone physical merchandise box priced at $399.99 in the US. GTA VI is sold separately.

Rockstar’s product listing shows the price, contents, dimensions and a clear notice that the game is sold separately. Rockstar’s GTA VI website describes the box as a limited-edition collectible set.

Is there an official GTA 6 Collector’s Edition?

Yes, but Rockstar separates the collector product from the game editions.

The official game lineup currently consists of Standard Edition and Ultimate Edition. Both include GTA 6. Standard Edition is sold digitally and as a physical code-in-box product, while Ultimate Edition is digital only. Rockstar also plans to sell an Ultimate Edition Upgrade separately for Standard Edition owners.

The Goodtime State - Vice City Collection is different. Rockstar calls it a Collector’s Box and sells it as a standalone merchandise product. It is not a third edition of GTA 6 and it does not upgrade Standard Edition or Ultimate Edition.

This distinction is important because older predictions, fan-made box designs and retailer headlines may use “Collector’s Edition” more loosely. The safest way to identify the real product is to compare its name and contents with Rockstar’s official product listing and edition guide.

Does the GTA 6 Collector’s Edition include the game?

No. The Vice City Collection does not include GTA 6. Buyers who want both the collectibles and the game must purchase them separately.

The official contents list does not include a disc, game download code, SteelBook, Standard Edition, Ultimate Edition, GTA+ membership or digital preorder pack. Buying the Collector’s Box does not qualify the buyer for the game’s preorder bonuses.

There is another detail physical-game buyers should know: Rockstar’s separately sold boxed Standard Edition contains a download code rather than a disc. The physical package is intended to support retail sales and preloading, but the game itself must still be downloaded.

What is included in the GTA 6 Collector’s Box?

Rockstar lists 11 product entries. The actual number of individual pieces is higher because the pin set and sticker pack each contain nine items.

The decorated outer box is part of the presentation, but it is not listed as a separate twelfth product.

What does the Leonida poster reveal?

Rockstar describes the final item as a double-sided souvenir poster with a map of Leonida on the reverse. The promotional image confirms the poster’s design, but it does not provide a complete, measurable view of the map.

Box dimensions and safety information

The official listing gives the box dimensions as 19 × 13.5 × 12.5 inches, or approximately 48.3 × 34.3 × 31.8 cm.

Rockstar labels the set as an adult collectible for ages 18 and over. The safety notice mentions small parts, sharp points or edges, and fragile components. Buyers should also check the individual measurements and care instructions for wearable products such as the sunglasses and hat.

How much does the GTA 6 Collector’s Edition cost?

The US-facing Rockstar Store currently lists the Vice City Collection at $399.99. Launch coverage reported the following regional prices:

Table comparing reported GTA 6 Vice City Collection prices in the United States, Canada, United Kingdom, Europe and Australia.
The Vice City Collection is listed at $399.99 in the US, while reported regional prices vary by market and seller. Shipping, taxes, duties and current checkout prices may differ.

The US price is displayed directly by Rockstar. The Canadian, British and euro prices were reported together at launch by RockstarINTEL. JB Hi-Fi’s official ballot terms confirm the A$699 price, while Press Start reported EB Games’ A$699.95 allocation.

Rockstar does not include free shipping with this product. Taxes, duties and delivery charges can also change the final amount, especially for international orders. No separate official PLN price was confirmed during this check.

Where can you preorder the Vice City Collection?

The main source is the Rockstar Store product page. During the October 2 check, the page combined “Pre-Order Now” wording with an Add to Wishlist button. Buyers should therefore confirm whether checkout is actually available for their region instead of relying on a general “in stock” or “sold out” headline.

A September 29 guide from GTA Intel, quoting Rockstar’s store FAQ, reported a one-per-person limit and a requirement to sign in to a Rockstar Store account. Those conditions should be checked again before payment because purchase rules can change.

Australia used separate retailer allocations

Australian availability has followed a different route from the Rockstar Store rollout.

Press Start reported that EB Games opened orders at A$699.95 on September 28 and sold through its initial allocation quickly.

JB Hi-Fi then ran a purchase ballot for Australian residents aged 18 or over who were JB Hi-Fi Perks members. Entry closed at 3 p.m. AEST on October 1, with the draw scheduled for October 2. Selected entrants are due to receive an email by 5 p.m. AEDT on October 6 and must complete the purchase by 11:59 p.m. AEDT on October 9.

The JB Hi-Fi ballot does not award a free box. It gives selected entrants an opportunity to buy one for A$699, with delivery charged separately. Successfully purchased orders are due to be dispatched after the product’s November release.

These retailer arrangements also show why the collection should not be described as a worldwide Rockstar Store exclusive.

International orders, cancellations and returns

Rockstar’s general regional shipping information does not guarantee that this specific Collector’s Box can be delivered to every country normally served by the store. Buyers should enter their delivery address and review the final checkout conditions before paying. Rockstar says shipping costs are displayed at checkout and that delivery time depends on the selected option.

Cancellation and return terms also depend on the merchant processing the order. Rockstar Store purchases, Xsolla-processed purchases and retailer orders may follow different procedures. The merchant of record is identified during checkout and on the receipt.

When does the GTA 6 Collector’s Box ship?

Rockstar’s shipping wording has been reported as “available to ship from November 19, 2026.” That is the date dispatch can begin, not a promise that the box will arrive on launch day. Delivery timing depends on the destination, fulfillment status and shipping option selected at checkout.

The boxed Standard Edition of GTA 6 follows a different schedule. Rockstar says physical code-in-box versions are expected to become available for shipping and pickup from November 12, allowing buyers to redeem the code and preload before the game launches on November 19, 2026. Receiving the code early does not provide early access.

Australian buyers should follow their retailer’s instructions. JB Hi-Fi’s ballot terms state that successful orders will be dispatched after the product’s November release, with the release date subject to supplier changes.

Is the Vice City Collection limited edition?

Yes. Rockstar describes it as a limited-edition collectible set and promoted preorders with “while supplies last” wording.

Rockstar has not published a production total or a confirmed restock schedule. The limited-edition label therefore does not reveal how many boxes exist or whether another retailer allocation will appear.

A wishlist is not a reservation, and reseller asking prices are not proof of the collection’s market value. Buyers comparing resale listings should look at completed transactions rather than unusually high advertised prices.

GTA 6 Collector’s Box vs Standard and Ultimate Editions

Table comparing GTA VI Standard Edition, Ultimate Edition and the separate Vice City Collection Collector’s Box.
Standard and Ultimate are editions of GTA VI. The Vice City Collection is a separate physical merchandise box and does not include the game.

Take-Two confirms the US prices of the two game editions. Rockstar’s support documentation confirms that the boxed Standard Edition contains a download code, that Ultimate Edition is digital, and that the Collector’s Box is not part of either game edition.

Standard Edition owners can buy the Ultimate Edition Upgrade separately. Buyers of the physical Standard Edition can upgrade after redeeming the download code. Rockstar does not currently list a physical Ultimate Edition.

For a broader breakdown of game prices, see our GTA 6 price guide.

Are GTA 6 preorder bonuses included with the Collector’s Box?

No. The preorder benefits belong to an eligible purchase of the game, not the merchandise collection.

Rockstar’s Vintage Vice City Pack includes a vehicle and garage, outfits and hairstyles, and an exclusive weapon pattern. Eligible digital purchases made before November 20, 2026 also include one month of GTA+. Physical preorders include the game download code and Vintage Vice City Pack, but Rockstar’s physical-version list does not include the promotional GTA+ month.

Is the GTA 6 Collector’s Box worth it?

The box makes the most sense for buyers who want the complete set and expect to use or display several of its items. The sunglasses, hat and bag are practical products, while the figure, mirror, pins, stickers and poster are aimed more directly at collectors.

It is harder to justify for someone who only wants one item. A buyer interested mainly in the Leonida poster, for example, would still be paying for the sunglasses, clothing accessory, figure and every smaller collectible.

Players whose main goal is to play GTA 6 should treat the box as an optional merchandise purchase. It does not replace Standard Edition or Ultimate Edition, and it does not include a disc, game code or SteelBook.

Before ordering, compare the final delivered price with how many of the included products you would genuinely use, wear or display.

How does it compare with GTA 5 and Red Dead Redemption 2?

Rockstar has previously used both traditional game bundles and separate merchandise boxes.

Table comparing the GTA VI Vice City Collection with GTA V Special Edition, GTA V Collector’s Edition and the Red Dead Redemption 2 Collector’s Box.
Unlike GTA V’s game-included collector editions, the GTA VI Vice City Collection follows the standalone merchandise model previously used for the Red Dead Redemption 2 Collector’s Box. Prices shown are original US launch prices and are not adjusted for inflation.

The GTA V prices and contents were announced through PlayStation Blog. Rockstar’s Red Dead Redemption 2 announcement states that the game was sold separately, while contemporary coverage records the Collector’s Box price at $99.99.

These are original nominal prices and are not adjusted for inflation. In terms of sales model, the Vice City Collection is closer to the Red Dead Redemption 2 Collector’s Box because both are standalone merchandise products sold without the game.

GTA 6 Collector’s Edition FAQ

Is there a PS5 or Xbox version of the Collector’s Box?

No. The collection does not contain a game copy, so the box itself is not tied to a platform. Buyers choose PS5 or Xbox Series X|S when purchasing GTA 6 separately.

Does it include a physical disc or SteelBook?

No. Neither appears in the official contents list. The separately sold boxed Standard Edition also contains a download code rather than a disc.

Can I buy the game and Collector’s Box as one package?

Rockstar’s current listings sell them as separate products. The Collector’s Box price does not include Standard Edition, Ultimate Edition or the game’s digital benefits.

Is the GTA 6 Collector’s Box sold out?

There is no single worldwide stock status. Availability depends on the seller and region. The Rockstar Store listing should be checked directly, while countries such as Australia may use separate retailer allocations or purchase ballots.

Will the Collector’s Box arrive on November 19?

Launch-day delivery has not been guaranteed. “Available to ship from November 19” means dispatch can begin from that date. The arrival date depends on fulfillment and delivery conditions.

Will Rockstar release another Collector’s Edition?

Rockstar has not announced another GTA 6 game edition called Collector’s Edition. The current official game lineup remains Standard Edition and Ultimate Edition. That does not confirm or rule out a future announcement.
